I was fishing alone but was partnered with Jeff Edgerly and decided to start off the day with a spot across from the ramp that has produced many a winning stringer. I was fishing already at 6:25 A.M. and had my five fish limit in the boat by 7:00 A. M. I'd caught six fish in 35 minutes and decided to stay in the area all day.
Well, I fished the rest of the day without catching another fish but my partner came to the scale with five nice two pound fish. We ended up with a total of 15.48 pounds which was enough to put us in first place for this tournament.
Big fish was caught by Ed Owens which weighed in at 5.69 pounds. Fishing was slow with only three anglers coming to the scale with their five fish limit. Next Tournament will be out of the J&S Ramp again on May 19. See you on the water.
