Carl Lewis with two bass including tourney big fish.

After launching at the treacherous J&S ramp, Gramps and I joined Carl, Mike and Bob Miller in the cove across from the ramp where bass were schooling all around us. We both managed a keeper on top water baits before the sun came up and the bite died down. Carl also got one of the schoolers. After flipping the pads with craw baits and losing a bass to the vegetation, we headed north around the bend.

We spent the rest of the day pulling Carolina rigs along the rock ledge in 10 to 15 feet of water. I culled two fish, and the old man managed to fill his live well in the last hour of fishing. Back at the ramp Hunter weighed in a very nice limit at 9.77 lbs. Mike brought back four fish at a weight of 6.05 lbs. Bob and Carl came back with 2 fish each. With one of Carl's fish tipping the scales at 4.38 lbs, he captured big fish of the day.
