This past Saturday August 20th, East Coast Bass Anglers held their monthly tournament, launching out of the Scott Driver Ramp and the mouth of the Kissimmee River on Lake Okeechobee.

We had 14 anglers participating. There were a total of 54 bass caught and released weighing a combined total of 97.06 pounds. John Hodgson came in with the biggest five fish stringer weighing in at 13.64 pounds. His partner, Dean Baldwin had a 11.83 pound stringer but also had big bass weighing in at 6.84 pounds. They won the tournament with a total weight of 28.98 pounds. Alex Pappas and Lionel Botha finished second with a combined total of 17.04 pounds. Third Place was Ed Owens and Bob Miller with a combined total of 13.62 pounds

It was a great tournament with eight anglers coming to the weigh in achieving their five fish limits. The next tournament will be on the the Big O, launching out of Scott Driver Ramp.
