Hunter with Tourney Big Bass and Biggest Stringer of the Year.

East Coast Bass Anglers held the last yearly tournament on Lake Kissimmee on December 12th, 2009. Launch was at safe light and everyone headed for their favorite honey hole. My partner and I headed to Brahma Island and both of us caught a keeper there in the next two hours. We then headed south and continued catching fish, My partner Al had his five fish limit shortly after arriving on the south end. I changed my lure and soon caught up with him. Now we both had five fish in the live well and started culling fish. We caught a lot of short fish in a very brief period of time using different lures, depending on water depth. At twenty minutes before three, we headed in and got the weigh in ready for the first anglers.

Hunter Broggi, brought a sack of five fish to the scale which turned out to be the biggest stringer for the year tipping the scale at 15.74 pounds. He also had big fish for the tournament which weighed 3.68 pounds. But even with the big stringer, Hunter and his partner Walter, finished in second place for the tournament.

Mark Lundgren and Leroy Bauer, both with five fish limits, brought a total of 18.89 pounds to the scale. Third place was Carl Lewis and Skip Jeslesky who both had five fish limits for a total weight of 11.89 pounds. During this tournament there were six anglers who had five fish limits, Hunter Broggi, Carl Lewis, Al Nevarez, Mark Lundgren, Leroy Bauer and Skip Jeslesky.

Congratulations to Mark Lundgren who caught enough fish during this tournament to stay in the lead for Angler of the Year. Second Place Angler of the Year goes to Hunter Broggi and Third Place goes to Leroy Bauer. Fourth Place: Carl Lewis and Fifth Place angler of the year: Skip Jeslesky.

Congratulations to all anglers on each and everyone's accomplishments this past year. See you all next year and Tight Lines
