Bob Haarer with tourney big bass.
As the day wore on it became apparent that many had abandoned their primary spots and were searching for new fish and/or new water. Boats zipped up and down the river through out the day searching for more cooperative fish. By the end of the tournament it was very apparent that the fish were few and far between with no members bringing in a limit.
Congratulations to Bob Haarer and Dean Baldwin for not only bringing in the lunker of the tournament, but for the overall win as well. Second Place went to Mark Lundgren and Mike Schlueter, and third place was awarded to Leroy Bauer and Hunter Broggi. It was a hot and long day, with few fish caught. At least some had stories of "those that got away," or even better the gators that never seemed to be out of striking distance of a wayward cast with a crank bait. Tight Lines and see you at the next meeting!
