June 2011 Results

This past Saturday, June 18th, East Coast Bass Anglers held their monthly tournament, launching out of the Scott Driver Ramp and the mouth of the Kissimmee River on Lake Okeechobee. We had 10 anglers participating.

There were a total of 41 bass caught and released weighing a combined total of 93.89 pounds. Lionel Botha came in with the biggest five fish stringer weighing in at 22.97 pounds plus the big fish for the tournament weighing 6.97 pounds. Lionel and Karlis had a total combined weight of 28.42 pounds to take first place in this tournament. Leroy Bauer and Bob Miller finished second with a combined total of 27.72 pounds. Third Place was Al Nevarez and Mike Kenzie with a combined total of 17.02 pounds. It was a great tournament, seven anglers came to the weigh in with their five fish limits.

Next tournament will be on the Palm Beach Canal system launching out of the Airport Hole ramp, provided there is sufficient water to safely operate there.
