March 2010 Results

Launch was at safe light out of Grape Hammock on Lake Kissimmee. With all co-anglers finally on their assigned boats, each angler headed for their honey hold. My co-angler and I headed for a spot I had located while prefishing and arrived there a short time later. The water was calm with nearly no wind. Within the first hour and a half I had two fish in the boat and my co-angler had two. then the bite stopped. We stayed in the spot hoping they would turn back on with no luck, so we took off for the secondary spot.

I managed to catch 7 bass but only 2 were keepers. My co-angler, Mike Schlueter, hooked a great first, 6 or 7 pounds but she came off some place under the boat. Two fish over 6 pounds were caught during this tournament with one big Stringer coming to the scale at 16.90 pounds. It belongs to our resident snow bird, Loel Brandscomb. A few more short fish and it was time to head to the scales. Results for the tournament are as follows.
