This past Saturday, May 14th, East Coast Bass Anglers held their monthly tournament, launching out of the Oak Hammock Ramp, in St Lucie West on the C24 Canal.

We had 14 anglers participating.. There were a total of 41 bass caught and released weighing a combined total of 97.89 pounds.

Mike Kinsie, our newest member came in with the biggest five fish stringer weighing in at 17.16 pounds. Floyd Marshall had the big fish for the tournament which weighedin at 5.15 pounds. Al Navarez and Dean Baldwin came to the scales with the winning combined total weight of 23.10 pounds with Al's stringer weighing 14.45 pounds. Second Place was Bob Haarer and Mike Kinsie with a total weight of 18.97 pounds. Third place was Floyd Marshall and Bob Miller weighing 18.42 pounds. Carl Lewis came in with the 3rd largest stringer weighing 13.30 pounds.

It was a great tournament and six anglers came to the weigh in with their five fish limits. Next Tournament will be on Lake Istakpoga, providing water levels there are safe to operate a boat. Lake Istakpoga, at normal levels is shallow, we're in a drought condition at this time. Enough said.

See ya on the water and Tight Lines.
