This past Saturday, October 23nd, East Coast Bass Anglers held their monthly tournament, launching out of the Scott Driver Ramp and the mouth of the Kissimmee River on Lake Okeechobee.

Ten anglers caught a total of 27 bass weighing a combined total 59.05 pounds.

Fishing was great for some anglers with five anglers bringing five fish limits to the scale. First place boat was taken by John Hodgson and Lionel Botha who had a combined total of 28.74 pounds. Lionel had the big stringer for the tournament and big bass, totaling a whopping 19.62 pounds. Second Place was Carl Lewis (with second biggest stringer weighing 9.68 pounds) and Ray Guerra (blind draw for Carl) with a total weight of 15.93 pounds. Third place was Mark Lundgren and Ray Guerra (Marks actual partner) with a total combined weight of 11.85 pounds. Anglers with 5 fish limits were: John Hodgson, Lionel Botha, Carl Lewis, Mark Lundgren and Ray Guerra.

Next tournament will be on Lake Ansin Garcia launching at the ramp on 512. Next Meeting will be on Nov 9th, with the tournament taking place on Nov 12th. Tournament will be the same week as the meeting. Anglers, please take note of the changes. See ya on the water and Tight Lines.
